The Capital One Journey Student Rewards credit card was launched to help students establish and build credit. The client wanted a youthful, bold site that stated the advantages up front. Their internal agency had freshly minted branding guidelines that needed to be incorporated.
Their Requirements:
- launch a youthful website that appealed to both parents and students
- follow their branding standards which emphasized large tag lines and textured backgrounds
- launch within a tight deadline
- educate visitors about credit
Site Design:
- worked closely with their internal and external agencies to structure content
- created several unique directions & layouts that leveraged their new branding
- presented the educational content in dynamic layouts to make it easier to navigate
- photo selection for over 50 images that fit within very specific guidelines
- worked with many teams and coordinated layered feedback into consolidated approvals
- met steep launch deadlines
